Express Yourself Urban Arts Program:

Express Yourself Arts Program is a year-round after school program designed for elementary and secondary school students to discover and develop the artistic gifts The Creator has given them.  Students can indulge their creativity through a variety of artistic mediums including; visual, performing, culinary and creative arts.  Express Yourself  meets for two 12-14 week sessions in the spring and fall and also provides a session for the students during the summer. 

Students enrolled in Express Yourself choose four classes of interest and participate in an “Artists Exhibition” at the end of the session to perform or display their work.  Students are also exposed to art within their community through “Artists in Action” – a weekly outing exploring museums, galleries, theaters, art schools, rehearsals and performances.  Guest artists are also invited to talk with the students about possible career opportunities and ways to express their faith through art.  Scholarships are available to eligible students
